Youth Sail NSW

Zhik Youth Sail NSW is an event for youth sailors U23. All junior and youth classes and classes sailed by sailors under 23 are welcome. Zhik Youth Sail NSW is focused on growing participation in junior and youth classes, increasing sailors’ skills, fostering social connection, and building friendship and community among our youth sailors.

Coaching Clinic

Wed 1 to Fri 3 Oct 2025

The 3 day coaching clinic is run by Australian Sailing qualified coaches and includes a guest speaker presentation.
Performance Pathway coaches will be supporting and mentoring the coaches during the clinic and observing sailors during the championships.

Guest Speaker - Thursday 2nd October

Zoe Thomson - Olympic Sailor

Zoe represented Australia at the Paris Olympics in the ILCA 6. Zoe will share her sailing story and experience of sailing at an international level. All sailors and their families are welcome to attend. To be held at Diggers, 41 The Boulevarde, Toronto. Dinner can be purchased at Diggers

Green Fleet Program

Fri 3 to Mon 6 Oct 2025

The Green Fleet program will be a mix of coaching, practice racing, and fun activities on and off the water.

The Green fleet program is targeted towards sailors who have completed Tackers 3 learn to sail program or equivalent and who are starting to learn to race. The focus is around having fun and learning new skills as an introduction to racing. Green Fleet is open to Optimist, Sabot, and Open Skiffs.

Youth Championship

Sat 4 to Mon 6 Oct 2025

Put your skills to the test in the 3 day Youth Championship regatta, with some amazing prizes to be won from our sponsors - generous gift vouchers from Zhik

This is the selection event for sailors to represent Australian Sailing in the Windsurfer – Youth iQFOiL, One Person Dinghy – ILCA 6, Skiff – 29er and Multihull – Nacra 15 at the 2025 Youth Sailing World Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal from 12 – 20 December 2025 - read more here.

Only sailors participating in the Coaching Clinic and Green Fleet are permitted to access and launch from the event site between Wednesday and Friday morning.
