Commonwealth Youth Games Malta 2027
Overview
Sailing will make its Commonwealth Youth Games debut at Malta 2027, providing an exciting opportunity for Australia’s young sailors to represent their country in a multi-sport Games environment.
The sailing events have been confirmed by the Commonwealth Youth Games organisers and will be contested in the Optimist and ILCA 4 classes across four individual events:

Subject to final athlete allocation from Commonwealth Games Australia, Australia expects to nominate up to one sailor in each event.
Nomination & Selection
Australian Sailing is currently working with Commonwealth Games Australia to finalise the Nomination & Selection Criteria for the sailing team.
The Nomination & Selection Criteria will be published once approved and will provide full details regarding eligibility, nomination requirements and the selection process.

2027 Australian ILCA 4 Championships
