ACT - Registration

The Zhik Youth Sail ACT 2026 event for U23 Youth, includes a coaching clinic and the ACT Youth Championship as a combined event.

How to register for Zhik Youth Sail ACT

An individual entry is required for each boat.

If you are registering a double-handed boat, please enter the correct Skipper and Crew details on the entry form.

Coaching Clinic registration closes on 25 September, or when all available spaces are sold out.

We recommend registering early to avoid disappointment. If minimum numbers (usually 6) for coaching clinic groups are not met, a group may be cancelled.

What is the difference between the Coaching Clinic and Regatta and Green Fleet?

If you are confidently getting around the race course at your club, then you are ready for the coaching clinic and the Youth Championships regatta. If you are still learning to race and not confident about racing without guidance then the Green Fleet Program is for you!
Green Fleet will not have formal racing, the program will focus on learning, fun, participation and the sailors will have the opportunity to experience activities such as; destination sails, developing skills and confidence on the water in a noncompetitive environment. There will be no results published for the Green Fleet, every sailor will reciew a certificate of completion. 

My child has started foiling (iQFOiL or Wing), are their skills good enough for this event?

The coaching clinic is not a space for learning to foil, it is for sailors who want to learn to race and develop their racing skills. 
They should be able to complete the following:

• foil consistently in both directions
• safely launch and return to their starting point without assistance
• complete majority of gybes on the foil
• is learning to tack

Registration & Entry Fees

Enter before 26th September to take advantage of the early entry fee! 
From 21st September onwards, an increased late fee will apply for all registrations and competitor entries.
