Due to unfavourable wind conditions, 2026 Zhik VIC Youth Championships has been cancelled. Refunds will be processed, and we look forward to welcoming you back in 2027 on 1st to 4th April.

The Zhik Youth Sail VIC 2026 event includes a two day coaching camp with Victoria's top coaches followed by the two day Zhik Victorian Youth Championships. Youth Sail is focussed on growing participation in junior and youth classes, increasing sailors’ skills, fostering social connection, and building friendship and community between our youth sailors. The coaching clinic and regatta are open to all Australian Sailing junior and youth classes.

Green Fleet - 9 & 10 April

The Green fleet program is a two day Clinic, targeted towards sailors who have completed Tackers 3 learn to sail program or equivalent and who are starting to learn to race. The focus is around having fun and learning new skills as an introduction to racing. There will be no scored races, every sailor will receive a certificate of participation.

Olympic Guest Speakers

Thursday 9th April - Olympic Guest speakers and burger night 

On Thursday evening, we will host a talk with some exciting guest speakers - Olympians Tess Lloyd, Will Phillips and Sam Phillips.  A burger dinner is included in the entry fee for all sailors registered for the coaching clinic, parents and siblings may purchase dinner as well >>CLICK HERE

Spirit of S.A.I.L.I.N.G. Award

Australian Sailing is proud to announce the launch of the new Spirit of S.A.I.L.I.N.G. Award, a values-based recognition program that will be presented at all Zhik Youth Sail events.

The Spirit of S.A.I.L.I.N.G. Award celebrates youth sailors who demonstrate outstanding character both on and off the water, recognising not just how they race, but how they treat others, respond to challenges, and contribute to the sailing community. This year we thank our long standing sponsor in Ronstan for providing their Clearstart watches as prizes across the events. More information about the award can be found here.
