Zhik Youth Sail SA 2025 event includes a two-day SA Youth Championship regatta for U23 Youth Classes and a two-day coaching clinic.

Youth Sail is focussed on growing participation in junior and youth classes, increasing sailors’ skills, fostering social connection, and building friendship and community between our youth sailors.

Olivia Price Olympian guest speaker - Sunday 28 September

Olivia won silver in the Elliot 6m Match Racing event at the London Games and represented Australia at the Paris Olympics in the 49erFX with Evie Haseldine. Olivia will share her sailing story and experience of sailing at international level. Read more about Olivia here

Green Fleet

ARE YOU NEW TO OPTIMIST SAILING? READY TO JOIN THE GREEN FLEET THIS SEASON?
KEEN TO HAVE LOTS OF FUN?
The green fleet have their own course area so close to shore and the racing is a coached event.
If the weather is no good then we'll leave the boats and focus on just having fun.

The Green Fleet program targets sailors who have recently completed a Tackers 3 Learn to sail program or equivalent. The focus is on having fun and learning new skills as an introduction to racing conducted by qualified instructors/foundation coaches and is an ideal way to participate in your first regatta.

This is the selection event for sailors to represent Australian Sailing in the Two Person Dinghy – 420 at the 2025 Youth Sailing World Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal from 12 – 20 December 2025 read more here
