Following the team welcome, sailors will participate in a series of virtual sessions leading up to the championships, providing key information for sailors and families on travel and logistics, event and venue preparation, team expectations, and other important aspects of representing Australia as members of the national team.
Alongside these sessions, sailors will continue their on-water preparation within their home club and class environments, supported by their club and class coaches and programs. This reflects the important role that clubs and class associations play in the development of youth sailors.
The team is scheduled to depart for the championship in early December.
