The Notice of Race has been released for Youth Sail VIC, which is quickly approaching, and registrations are open. Youth Sail VIC includes a two day Coaching Clinic (April 14 – 15) followed by the Vic Youth Championship (April 16 – 19) hosted by Royal Yacht Club of Victoria.
Youth Sail (Coaching Clinic and Youth Championships) aims to provide youth aged sailors with the chance to develop their racing skills and implement their practice at each state event and bring youth sailors together annually.

The State Youth Championships are open for all youth sailors (up to U23). With domestic borders now open, the Youth Sail VIC event will be the first opportunity for youth sailors from across the country to meet in a regatta setting.
The Youth Sail VIC event will be the Australian Sailing Youth Team (ASYT) selection for the remaining class, the 420 Nationals and Kitefoiling already decided.
Straight after the Youth Sail VIC provides an opportunity for youth sailors to be selected for the National Youth Camp alongside the ASYT Camp, the National Youth Camp will be held straight after the Victorian Youth Championships (20 – 23 April). The National Youth Camp Schedule can be found here.
More information about the Youth Sail VIC, including competitor information and coaching lineup, can be found here.
Windfoiling sailors who wish to be considered for selection for the ASYT are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the equipment requirements at the Vic Youth Championships.
