Regatta Cancellation Notice

Unfortunately, the wind forecast for the next two days is not favourable for racing.

Following consultation between the Principal Race Officer (PRO) and the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM), conditions are expected to be unsailable across both days. As a result, and in the interest of safety for all competitors, volunteers and race officials, the Organising Committee has made the decision to cancel the regatta.

In line with the Notice of Race (NOR), all entry fees will be refunded, less any transaction fees. Please allow a few business days for refunds to be processed.

While racing will not go ahead, all competitors’ honorary membership of SSCBC for the weekend remains valid, and you are warmly welcome to continue enjoying the club’s facilities.

We hope you enjoyed the Coaching Clinic despite the challenging conditions, and we look forward to welcoming you back next year.
