Zhik Youth Sail QLD 2025 includes a three day coaching camp with Queenslands top coaches followed by the three day Queensland Youth Championships.

Keppel Bay Sailing Club in Yeppoon will host this year's event.  Accommodation always books out quickly for this event so if you are planning to attend, book your accommodation today!

The coaching clinic and regatta are open to all Australian Saling affiliated junior and youth classes and includes a Green Fleet division held at the safe sheltered waters of the Causeway Lake.

The 3 day coaching clinic is run by Australian Sailing qualified coaches and includes a guest speaker presentation.

Put your skills to the test in the 3 day Youth Championship regatta, with some amazing prizes to be won from our sponsors & generous gift vouchers from Zhik.

Green Fleet

The Green fleet program is targeted towards sailors who have recently completed a Tackers 3 learn to sail program or equivalent. The focus is around having fun and learning new skills as an introduction to racing. It is composed of a 3-day training camp followed by a 3 days of fun introductory racing conducted by qualified instructors/foundation coaches and is an ideal way to participate in your first regatta.

The Green fleet clinic and regatta will be conducted at the Causeway Lake Sailing Village on the waters of the Causeway Lake, Yeppoon. There will be no results recorded for the regatta, the focus is on participation and learning to race. Every participant will take home a prize.

Youth Sail is focussed on growing participation in junior and youth classes, increasing sailors’ skills, fostering social connection, and building friendship and community between our youth sailors.
