EOI for Athletes - Pacific Games 5 - 20 July, 2019

Sailing is calling for Expression of Interest (EOI) to represent Australia at the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa from the 5 - 20 July, 2019.   This event is a part of the Pacific Games organised by the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC).  Over 4,000 athletes and officials are expected to attend the games. Australia is sending a 43 athletes from 6 sports. The sailing team shall be made up of 4 sailors in the Laser Radial (1 x Boy and 1 x Girl), 1 x Hobie Cat 16 (Mixed team) and 2 x Team Leader/Coaches this provides an important development opportunity for athletes.

The AOC substantially covers airfares, meals, event coaching, on shore uniform.  Athletes may need to cover eg: medical screening and on water uniform. The additional costs will be finalised in the coming weeks.
