Youth Squad

Selection for the National Youth Squad is determined by national class results outlined in the National Youth Squad selection guidelines.

Sailors are not required to submit applications for the National Youth Squad; instead, selected sailors will receive a letter of offer after the National Youth Squad - Coach Expression of Interest has closed on the 8th of February 2024.

During the week of February 19th, sailors shall receive a letter of offer with details about the National Youth Squad program, webinar dates, and coach appointments.

It's important to note that the dates for the National Youth Squad have been updated to April 3–5, followed by the Victorian Youth Championships April 6 – 7 at Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club. Based on tide charts, conditions on these dates are expected to be more favourable.
